A DOC or DOCX is a document file created by a word processor such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. It relies on system resources (like installed fonts) to render the page layout. This makes DOC/DOCX files flexible and easy to edit.
A PDF — Portable Document Format — is different. PDFs are self‑contained, so they look the same on any device. That consistency is great for sharing and printing. Because PDFs don’t pull resources from the system, they can be a bit harder to edit, but they preserve the exact visual result.
Yes — upload your DOC or DOCX files and we’ll convert them to PDF right here. In most cases the formatting (text layout, fonts, images, and their positions) is preserved. For rare or copyrighted fonts that aren’t available on the server, we substitute a similar font, which can slightly change the appearance. Common fonts such as Arial, Calibri, Roboto, Courier, and Times New Roman are preserved without issue.

Processing is fully automated. Uploaded files and outputs are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted within about 24 hours by default. Your original files remain on your device; our server works on a copy.
